Responsibilities
- Design and execute complex molecular biology experiments to validate novel drug targets
- Lead interdisciplinary teams in developing and optimizing preclinical drug candidates
- Analyze multi-omics datasets (genomics, proteomics) using bioinformatics pipelines
- Prepare regulatory documentation and present findings to FDA and internal stakeholders
- Mentor junior scientists and drive innovation in therapeutic areas
- Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure translational research alignment
Qualifications
- PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Molecular Biology, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in oncology/immunology drug discovery with proven publication record
- Proficiency in CRISPR/Cas9, high-throughput screening, and primary cell culture
- Strong statistical analysis skills and experience with R/Python for data interpretation
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional projects to IND submission
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present complex concepts clearly
