Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of complex preclinical studies for novel therapeutic compounds
- Optimize analytical methodologies for compound characterization and stability assessment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance drug candidates through IND-enabling studies
- Develop comprehensive regulatory documentation (CMC, IMPDs) ensuring compliance with FDA/EMA guidelines
- Mentor junior scientists and drive continuous improvement of lab protocols
- Present research findings at scientific conferences and peer-reviewed publications
Qualifications
- PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in preclinical formulation development and analytical characterization (HPLC, LC-MS, NMR)
- Proven track record in IND/CTA preparation and regulatory interactions
- Strong understanding of GMP/GLP principles and ICH guidelines
- Demonstrated leadership in multidisciplinary drug discovery projects
- Publication record in peer-reviewed journals
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
