Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of preclinical drug development studies for novel therapeutic compounds
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate research findings into actionable development strategies
- Oversee laboratory operations including SOP development, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance
- Present research outcomes at scientific conferences and publish in peer-reviewed journals
- Manage research budgets and resource allocation for assigned projects
- Mentor junior scientists and contribute to departmental innovation initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Pharmacology, Chemistry, or related life science field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven expertise in preclinical drug discovery methodologies and regulatory pathways
- Strong publication record in high-impact pharmaceutical research journals
- Familiarity with GLP/GMP standards and FDA/EMA regulatory frameworks
- Exceptional analytical skills with proficiency in statistical modeling and data interpretation
- Demonstrated leadership in managing complex research projects and cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present complex scientific concepts clearly
