Responsibilities
- Lead and design complex preclinical research studies in oncology and immunology
- Develop and optimize analytical methodologies for drug compound characterization
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance drug candidates from discovery to IND
- Ensure compliance with FDA, EMA, and ICH guidelines for GLP/GMP standards
- Present research findings at scientific conferences and peer-reviewed publications
- Mentor junior scientists and optimize laboratory workflows
- Stay current with emerging pharmaceutical technologies and regulatory changes
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Pharmacology, Medicinal Chemistry, or related life science field
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in drug discovery and development
- Proven expertise in HPLC, LC-MS, and cell-based assay techniques
- Strong publication record in high-impact pharmaceutical journals
- Experience managing CRO partnerships and regulatory submissions
- Proficiency with statistical analysis software (R, Python, Prism)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
