Responsibilities
- Design and execute complex preclinical studies to assess drug efficacy and safety profiles
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing novel therapeutic candidates from discovery to IND submission
- Analyze and interpret biological data using advanced statistical methods and bioinformatics tools
- Ensure compliance with FDA regulations, GMP standards, and ICH guidelines
- Present research findings at industry conferences and publish in peer-reviewed journals
- Mentor junior scientists and optimize laboratory protocols for efficiency and accuracy
Qualifications
- PhD in Pharmacology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven expertise in in vivo and in vitro drug modeling techniques
- Strong knowledge of FDA/EMA regulatory pathways for pharmaceutical development
- Proficiency with HPLC, LC-MS, and high-throughput screening platforms
- Demonstrated success in leading IND-enabling studies and regulatory submissions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with publication record
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, matrixed environments with multiple stakeholders
