Responsibilities
- Design and execute innovative preclinical research protocols using advanced molecular and cellular techniques
- Lead multidisciplinary project teams in drug discovery, including target validation and biomarker identification
- Analyze complex biological data and interpret results to inform compound optimization strategies
- Prepare regulatory documentation and present findings at scientific conferences and internal reviews
- Stay current with emerging technologies and methodologies in pharmaceutical research
- Mentor junior scientists and contribute to departmental innovation initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Pharmacology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or related life science field
- 5+ years of industry experience in drug discovery or preclinical development
- Proven expertise in oncology or immunology therapeutic areas
- Strong publication record in peer-reviewed scientific journals
- Experience with GxP-compliant laboratory practices and regulatory requirements
- Advanced proficiency in molecular biology techniques (CRISPR, qPCR, flow cytometry)
- Excellent analytical skills with demonstrated ability to interpret complex datasets
