Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced reservoir simulation models for shale gas and tight oil assets
- Lead multidisciplinary teams in optimizing hydraulic fracturing programs and well completions
- Conduct economic analysis and production forecasting for new exploration prospects
- Develop innovative solutions for enhanced oil recovery (EOR) techniques
- Ensure compliance with API, SPE, and environmental regulations
- Mentor junior engineers and foster technical excellence within the department
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (MS/PhD preferred)
- 8+ years of upstream experience in unconventional plays
- Expertise in reservoir simulation software (Eclipse, CMG, Nexus)
- Strong analytical skills with production optimization background
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Proven track record in horizontal drilling and multi-stage fracturing
- Excellent project management and stakeholder communication abilities
