Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced reservoir simulation models for shale and conventional assets
- Lead well optimization projects using real-time production data analytics
- Develop field development plans aligned with corporate sustainability targets
- Conduct economic evaluations and risk assessments for capital projects
- Mentor junior engineers and cross-functional project teams
- Interface with land, drilling, and completion departments to ensure seamless execution
- Present technical findings to executive leadership and external stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field (MS/PhD preferred)
- 8+ years of upstream oil & gas experience with unconventional plays
- Proficiency in reservoir simulation software (Eclipse, Nexus, tNavigator)
- Strong background in production data analytics and machine learning applications
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Experience with horizontal drilling and hydraulic fracturing design
- Demonstrated success in leading multi-disciplinary field development projects
- Excellent communication skills with ability to translate complex data to stakeholders
