Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of comprehensive nursing care for oncology patients, including complex chemotherapy and biotherapy administration.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement personalized patient care plans based on evidence-based practices.
- Provide advanced clinical assessment and monitoring of patient reactions to treatments, ensuring immediate intervention when necessary.
- Mentor and supervise junior nursing staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and clinical excellence.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment protocols, symptom management, and psychosocial support resources.
- Maintain meticulous clinical documentation and ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and institutional standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution is required.
- Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical experience in oncology or a high-acuity medical-surgical setting.
- Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification strongly preferred.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to lead clinical teams.
