Responsibilities
- Develop and execute merchandising strategies aligned with brand identity and sales targets
- Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape to inform assortment planning
- Collaborate with vendors to negotiate contracts, secure optimal pricing, and manage relationships
- Oversee inventory management, including allocation, replenishment, and markdown optimization
- Lead cross-functional teams with Marketing, Visual Merchandising, and Store Operations
- Monitor KPIs (GMROI, sell-through, inventory turnover) and present actionable insights
- Manage seasonal product launches and promotional campaigns
Qualifications
- 8+ years of retail merchandising experience with 3+ in leadership roles
- Proven track record of driving sales growth and margin improvement
- Expertise in data analytics (Excel, SQL, or BI tools)
- Strong vendor negotiation and relationship management skills
- Deep understanding of retail inventory systems (e.g., SAP Retail, Oracle)
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or Retail Management
- Exceptional strategic thinking and cross-functional collaboration abilities
