Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive merchandise plans aligned with brand identity and sales targets
- Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activities to inform assortment decisions
- Collaborate with buying teams to curate product assortments that maximize margin and sell-through
- Manage inventory allocation, replenishment, and markdown strategies across all channels
- Lead visual merchandising initiatives to create compelling in-store and online experiences
- Train and mentor merchandising staff on best practices and performance metrics
- Partner with marketing to develop promotional campaigns that drive traffic and conversion
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in luxury retail merchandising with 3+ years in leadership
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets through strategic merchandise planning
- Expert knowledge of retail analytics, inventory management systems, and POS platforms
- Strong negotiation skills with vendor relationships and wholesale partnerships
- Ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into actionable plans
- Experience with omnichannel retail operations and e-commerce merchandising
- BA/BS in Merchandising, Business, or related field; MBA preferred
