Responsibilities
- Develop and execute seasonal merchandising strategies aligned with brand vision and market trends.
- Analyze sales data, market forecasts, and customer behavior to optimize product mix.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Buying, Marketing, and Logistics to ensure seamless product launches.
- Manage inventory levels to minimize stockouts while reducing excess inventory.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of junior merchandisers and analysts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key vendors and suppliers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in retail merchandising or buying, preferably in a high-volume environment.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Ability to travel between retail locations and vendor facilities as needed.
