Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive merchandise plans for seasonal collections, including assortment, pricing, and inventory optimization
- Analyze sales data, market trends, and consumer behavior to identify growth opportunities and mitigate risks
- Collaborate with buying teams to align merchandise strategies with brand vision and financial objectives
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights to senior leadership
- Manage inventory allocation across multiple retail channels to maximize sell-through and minimize markdowns
- Coordinate with visual merchandising teams to ensure in-store presentation aligns with brand standards
- Conduct competitive analysis to identify market opportunities and emerging trends
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Merchandising, Business, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in luxury retail merchandise planning or buying
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and retail planning systems (e.g., Blue Yonder, Oracle Retail)
- Strong analytical skills with experience in sales forecasting and inventory management
- Deep understanding of luxury market trends and consumer psychology
- Exceptional communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities
