Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive seasonal financial plans and open-to-buy forecasts to optimize inventory levels.
- Collaborate with Buying and Marketing teams to align product assortments with brand vision and current market trends.
- Analyze weekly sales performance and KPIs to proactively identify risks and capitalize on growth opportunities.
- Manage end-to-end inventory lifecycle, including initial allocations, markdowns, and replenishment strategies.
- Mentor junior planning staff and foster a culture of data-backed decision-making.
- Present business performance metrics and strategic recommendations to executive leadership.
- Drive continuous improvement in planning processes and leverage analytical tools to enhance forecast accuracy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, Finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in merchandise planning within a retail environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and retail planning software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or JDA).
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business strategies.
- Deep understanding of retail math, inventory metrics, and lifecycle management.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to adapt to shifting priorities in a high-growth retail organization.
