Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive merchandise plans for 6+ product categories, ensuring alignment with financial targets and brand positioning
- Analyze sales data, market trends, and inventory metrics to optimize stock allocation and minimize markdowns
- Collaborate with buying teams to create assortment strategies that balance exclusivity and commercial viability
- Monitor competitor pricing and assortment strategies to identify market opportunities
- Present merchandise performance insights and recommendations to senior leadership
- Manage seasonal transitions and promotional calendar execution across retail channels
Qualifications
- 5+ years of merchandise planning experience in luxury retail or high-end fashion
- Proficiency in retail analytics tools (e.g., Blue Yonder, Oracle Retail) and advanced Excel/SQL skills
- Demonstrated ability to translate data into actionable merchandise strategies
- Strong understanding of inventory management principles and OTB planning
- Experience collaborating with visual merchandising and marketing teams
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Merchandising, or related field
- Track record of meeting/exceeding sales and margin targets
