Responsibilities
- Analyze sales trends, inventory velocity, and market data to develop strategic merchandise plans across 5+ product categories
- Optimize stock allocation, markdown strategies, and replenishment cycles to achieve 98%+ fulfillment rates
- Collaborate with buying teams to set financial targets, OTB budgets, and margin goals for seasonal collections
- Leverage SAP and BI tools to create weekly sales reports, inventory forecasts, and performance dashboards
- Lead cross-functional workshops with visual merchandising and store teams to execute in-store presentations
- Monitor competitive landscape and emerging trends to identify untapped revenue opportunities
- Train junior planners on inventory management systems and retail analytics best practices
Qualifications
- 5+ years in merchandise planning or retail analytics with luxury/fashion brands
- Expert proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables) and SAP Merchandise Planning
- Proven track record of increasing inventory turnover by 15%+ while maintaining margin targets
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Merchandising, Data Analytics, or related field
- Strong understanding of retail math, OTB management, and 6-month planning cycles
- Exceptional storytelling skills to present complex data to executive stakeholders
- Experience with BI tools (Tableau/Power BI) and predictive inventory modeling
