Responsibilities
- Develop and execute seasonal merchandising strategies aligned with brand identity and market trends
- Analyze sales data to optimize inventory levels and minimize markdowns
- Collaborate with vendors to negotiate terms, secure exclusives, and manage relationships
- Lead cross-functional teams including visual merchandising and store operations
- Monitor competitive landscape and identify growth opportunities
- Manage departmental budget and P&L performance
- Train and mentor junior merchandising staff
Qualifications
- 7+ years of luxury retail merchandising experience
- Proven track record in inventory management and sales optimization
- Expertise in Excel, JDA/Blue Yonder, and retail analytics tools
- Strong vendor negotiation and relationship management skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Merchandising, or related field
- Ability to interpret market trends and translate into actionable plans
