Responsibilities
- Develop and execute merchandise plans across 5+ luxury product categories, ensuring alignment with brand positioning and sales targets
- Analyze market trends, sales data, and customer insights to optimize product assortments and inventory allocation
- Collaborate with buying teams to negotiate vendor partnerships and secure exclusive product offerings
- Lead cross-functional initiatives with visual merchandising, marketing, and store operations teams
- Manage $15M+ inventory portfolio, maximizing margin while minimizing markdowns
- Implement data-driven pricing strategies and promotional calendar management
- Mentor junior merchandising staff and conduct performance reviews
Qualifications
- 7+ years of luxury merchandise management experience with premium brands
- Expertise in inventory management systems (e.g., Oracle Retail, Blue Yonder)
- Proven track record of achieving/exceeding sales and margin targets
- Advanced analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and retail analytics tools
- Strong vendor negotiation and relationship management abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Merchandising, Business, or related field
- Experience developing merchandise strategies for omnichannel retail environments
- Exceptional leadership and cross-departmental collaboration skills
