Responsibilities
- Perform and interpret complex laboratory tests across hematology, chemistry, microbiology, and immunology
- Validate test results and troubleshoot instrumentation to ensure compliance with CLIA/CAP standards
- Mentor junior technologists and implement new laboratory protocols
- Collaborate with research teams on innovative diagnostic methodologies
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure proper specimen handling and quality control procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or Life Sciences (MT/MLT (ASCP) certified)
- 5+ years of clinical laboratory experience with strong diagnostic expertise
- Proficiency in LIS/HIS systems and automated laboratory equipment
- Demonstrated knowledge of CAP/CLIA compliance and regulatory standards
- Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication abilities for interdisciplinary collaboration
- Experience with molecular diagnostics or flow cytometry preferred
