Responsibilities
- Design and execute Phase I-III clinical trials for novel oncology therapeutics
- Lead interdisciplinary research teams including biostatisticians, lab technicians, and clinical coordinators
- Analyze complex genomic and proteomic datasets to identify biomarkers and therapeutic targets
- Prepare regulatory submissions (IND/CTA) and ensure protocol compliance with FDA/ICH guidelines
- Present findings at international conferences and publish in high-impact journals
- Develop research budgets and manage grant funding from NIH and industry partners
- Mentor postdoctoral fellows and contribute to departmental strategic planning
Qualifications
- PhD or MD/PhD in Oncology, Molecular Biology, or related field with 5+ years postdoctoral experience
- Proven track record of leading FDA-regulated clinical trials in solid tumors or hematologic malignancies
- Expertise in next-generation sequencing and bioinformatics analysis pipelines
- Strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals (minimum 15 first-author papers)
- Certification in Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and human subjects research ethics
- Demonstrated success securing NIH R01 or equivalent industry grants
- Experience with regulatory documentation and biostatistical methodologies
