Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with IT and clinical staff to implement, test, and troubleshoot EHR systems (Epic and Cerner).
Ensure strict compliance with HIPAA regulations and internal data governance policies.
Conduct training sessions for medical staff on new software modules and reporting tools.
Develop and maintain clinical dashboards and reporting metrics for executive stakeholders.
Participate in the selection and implementation of new health IT solutions and interoperability tools.
Analyze clinical data to identify trends, improve workflows, and enhance patient care delivery.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Health Informatics, Healthcare Administration, or a related field (Bachelor’s with significant experience considered).
Certification as a Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) or equivalent is highly preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in clinical informatics or healthcare IT.
Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R for data analysis and reporting.
Strong understanding of HL7, FHIR, and DICOM standards.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for clinical staff.
