Responsibilities
- Oversee clinical operations of the oncology division, ensuring adherence to evidence-based protocols and regulatory standards
- Lead multidisciplinary tumor boards and treatment planning committees
- Drive clinical research initiatives and oversee institutional review board (IRB) compliance
- Mentor and develop a team of oncologists, nurses, and support staff
- Collaborate with biotech partners on translational medicine projects
- Develop departmental budgets and resource allocation strategies
- Represent the institute in professional organizations and industry conferences
- Implement quality improvement initiatives and patient safety protocols
Qualifications
- Board-certified in Medical Oncology with active Massachusetts medical license
- Minimum 8 years of oncology practice leadership experience
- PhD or postdoctoral research in cancer biology or related field
- Proven track record in clinical trial design and implementation
- Demonstrated expertise in molecular diagnostics and precision therapeutics
- Strong publication record in peer-reviewed oncology journals
- Experience with EMR systems and healthcare data analytics
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills
