Responsibilities
- Perform advanced statistical analysis and data modeling on large-scale healthcare datasets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for operational improvement.
- Collaborate directly with clinical leadership and IT teams to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and design comprehensive dashboards using tools like Tableau or Power BI.
- Ensure strict adherence to HIPAA compliance and data privacy standards when handling sensitive patient information.
- Oversee data cleansing and validation processes to guarantee high data integrity across all reporting systems.
- Translate complex data findings into clear, concise executive summaries and presentations for non-technical stakeholders.
- Partner with software development teams to refine medical software features based on user data and feedback loops.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Health Informatics, Biostatistics, Public Health, or a related quantitative field (Bachelor’s with 5+ years of experience will be considered).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare data analysis, epidemiology, or clinical research.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R for data manipulation and analysis.
- Strong experience with healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR) and Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems (Epic, Cerner, or similar).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Qlik, or Looker.
