Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and validate complex medical datasets to ensure high data quality and accuracy for clinical research and reporting.
- Develop and maintain statistical models and dashboards using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and SQL to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and patient trends.
- Ensure strict compliance with HIPAA regulations and data privacy standards when handling sensitive patient information.
- Collaborate with clinical staff and healthcare providers to translate business requirements into technical data solutions.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of healthcare outcomes to identify areas for process improvement and cost reduction.
- Present complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders in a clear, actionable format.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Biostatistics, Health Informatics, Epidemiology, or a related field (Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of experience is acceptable).
- Proven experience (4+ years) in medical data analysis, healthcare analytics, or clinical research.
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Python, or R for data manipulation and analysis.
- Strong experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik) and ETL processes.
- Deep understanding of healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR) and regulatory compliance (HIPAA, GDPR).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
