Responsibilities
- Extract, clean, and transform large-scale healthcare datasets from EHR systems (Epic, Cerner) using SQL and Python.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards (Tableau, Power BI) to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) for clinical research teams.
- Conduct statistical analysis to support clinical trial endpoints and regulatory submissions.
- Ensure strict adherence to HIPAA compliance and data security protocols.
- Collaborate with clinical staff to identify data gaps and implement process improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing (RN), Public Health, Biostatistics, or a related quantitative field.
- 3+ years of experience in healthcare data analysis, preferably within a hospital or research setting.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas/NumPy), and statistical software (SAS, R).
- Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and ICH-GCP guidelines.
- Excellent communication skills to translate technical findings for non-technical stakeholders.
