Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth data analysis on patient outcomes and operational metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate directly with clinical staff and IT departments to translate complex healthcare requirements into data models.
- Ensure strict compliance with HIPAA regulations and healthcare data privacy standards.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards (Tableau, PowerBI) to visualize key performance indicators for stakeholders.
- Perform data cleansing, validation, and normalization to ensure the integrity of the Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Generate comprehensive reports and predictive models to support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Statistics, Biology, or a related quantitative field.
- 5+ years of experience in healthcare data analysis, preferably within a hospital or medical technology environment.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R for data extraction and manipulation.
- Strong knowledge of EHR systems such as Epic or Cerner.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present technical findings to non-technical audiences.
- Certification in Health Data Analytics (e.g., CHDA) is a plus.
