Responsibilities
- Lead the analysis of large-scale healthcare datasets to identify trends and improve patient outcomes.
- Design and maintain interactive dashboards using Tableau and PowerBI to visualize key performance indicators.
- Ensure strict adherence to HIPAA regulations and data privacy standards.
- Collaborate with clinical staff and IT teams to optimize EHR (Electronic Health Record) systems.
- Develop predictive models to forecast patient admission rates and resource allocation.
- Conduct audits on data integrity and quality assurance processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Biostatistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in medical data analysis or health informatics.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or similar data programming languages.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR) and compliance frameworks (HIPAA).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to translate technical findings for non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with cloud data warehouses (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
