Responsibilities
- Data Strategy & Architecture: Design and implement robust data pipelines and warehouse architectures to support complex healthcare analytics.
- Clinical Analysis: Interpret complex clinical datasets to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Visualization & Reporting: Develop interactive dashboards (Tableau, PowerBI) to present key performance indicators (KPIs) to stakeholders.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all data handling practices strictly adhere to HIPAA regulations and data privacy standards.
- Predictive Modeling: Build machine learning models to forecast patient readmission rates and resource allocation needs.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with clinical staff to translate technical findings into actionable business strategies.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Biostatistics, Health Informatics, Computer Science, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare data analysis or a similar quantitative role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (Advanced), Python or R, and experience with cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, AWS Redshift).
- Visualization: Strong portfolio demonstrating experience with BI tools like Tableau or PowerBI.
- Compliance: Solid understanding of healthcare data privacy laws, specifically HIPAA.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining complex data to non-technical audiences.
