Responsibilities
- Analyze electronic health records (EHR) and clinical trial data using SQL, R, and Python
- Develop predictive models for patient risk stratification and treatment outcomes
- Create interactive dashboards for hospital administrators and clinical teams
- Ensure HIPAA/GDPR compliance in all data handling processes
- Present findings to multidisciplinary stakeholders including physicians and executives
- Mentor junior analysts and implement best practices in data governance
- Stay current with emerging healthcare regulations and analytics techniques
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Health Informatics, Biostatistics, or related field
- 5+ years of healthcare data analysis experience with EHR systems
- Proficiency in SQL, R, Python, and visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI)
- Certification in Healthcare Information and Management Systems (CHIM) or equivalent
- Demonstrated experience with HIPAA-compliant data environments
- Strong understanding of clinical workflows and medical terminology
- Track record of translating complex data into actionable clinical insights
- Excellent communication skills for presenting to technical and non-technical audiences
