As a key member of our R&D division, you will leverage your expertise to solve complex engineering challenges, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring innovative products to market.
Responsibilities
- Lead the mechanical design and development of new products and production machinery from concept through to mass production.
- Conduct thorough stress analysis, finite element analysis (FEA), and dynamic simulations to ensure product durability and safety.
- Oversee the prototyping process, managing timelines and budgets while ensuring adherence to quality standards.
- Collaborate closely with electrical and software engineers to integrate complex systems into cohesive units.
- Perform root cause analysis for mechanical failures and implement robust corrective actions.
- Prepare detailed technical documentation, including drawings, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and specifications.
Qualifications
- Bachelorās degree in Mechanical Engineering (or a related field) required; Masterās degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in mechanical design, preferably within the automotive or manufacturing sector.
- Proficient in CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or CATIA.
- Strong working knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) standards.
- Experience with FEA tools (e.g., ANSYS, Abaqus) is a strong plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
