Responsibilities
- Oversee daily assembly operations and ensure strict adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma methodologies to reduce waste and increase throughput.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain efficient manufacturing workflows.
- Conduct root cause analysis for production bottlenecks and implement sustainable engineering solutions.
- Ensure full compliance with OSHA safety regulations and company safety protocols at all times.
- Manage and mentor a team of floor supervisors and junior engineers.
- Analyze production data and generate reports to forecast trends and drive decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelorās degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive or heavy manufacturing environments.
- Strong working knowledge of Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt preferred).
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on process optimization.
- Strong leadership abilities and the capacity to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Valid driverās license is required.
