Responsibilities
- Design, train, and deploy advanced machine learning models for genomic sequence analysis and protein folding prediction.
- Analyze large-scale biological datasets to extract actionable insights and biological signals.
- Research and implement novel deep learning architectures, including Transformers and Graph Neural Networks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of biologists, engineers, and product managers to translate research into practical applications.
- Present technical findings to stakeholders and publish results in top-tier scientific conferences and journals.
- Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to the technical roadmap of the research department.
Qualifications
- PhD or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, or a related quantitative field.
- Strong proficiency in Python, PyTorch, and TensorFlow with 5+ years of industry experience.
- Extensive experience with large-scale data processing frameworks (e.g., Spark, Hadoop, Dask).
- Deep understanding of statistical analysis and probability theory.
- Proven track record of publishing peer-reviewed papers or achieving notable results in Kaggle competitions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment.
