Responsibilities
- Design and implement sophisticated machine learning pipelines for high-throughput data environments.
- Collaborate with research scientists to translate theoretical models into production-grade code.
- Optimize model performance for latency and inference efficiency at scale.
- Develop robust monitoring and evaluation frameworks to ensure continuous model quality.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to our internal AI research documentation.
- Lead architectural reviews for new machine learning infrastructure components.
- Stay abreast of industry trends in NLP and Computer Vision to drive innovation.
Qualifications
- M.S. or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related quantitative field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in machine learning, focusing on deep learning frameworks.
- Advanced proficiency in Python, PyTorch, or TensorFlow.
- Deep understanding of distributed computing and cloud-native machine learning infrastructure (e.g., AWS SageMaker, GCP Vertex AI).
- Strong experience with CI/CD for ML (MLOps) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Proven track record of deploying large-scale models in production environments.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
