Responsibilities
- Design and implement production-grade ML pipelines for predictive analytics in biotech and environmental science
- Lead research initiatives in neural network optimization and federated learning
- Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with cross-functional research teams
- Translate complex scientific requirements into scalable ML architectures
- Contribute to open-source projects and publish findings in peer-reviewed journals
- Optimize models for edge deployment in IoT ecosystems
Qualifications
- PhD or Master's in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field with 5+ years ML experience
- Expertise in PyTorch/TensorFlow and distributed computing frameworks
- Proven track record of deploying models at scale in cloud environments (AWS/GCP)
- Strong background in Bayesian statistics and probabilistic modeling
- Experience with MLOps tools (Kubeflow, MLflow) and CI/CD pipelines
- Publications in NeurIPS/ICML or equivalent conferences preferred
