Responsibilities
- Architect and implement scalable machine learning pipelines for massive datasets.
- Collaborate with research scientists to prototype and productionize novel deep learning models.
- Optimize model training and inference performance across distributed compute clusters.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in model versioning and MLOps.
- Conduct code reviews and contribute to the technical roadmap for core AI infrastructure.
- Monitor production model performance and implement automated retraining loops.
Qualifications
- Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in deep learning or machine learning engineering.
- Expert-level proficiency in Python and one or more frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX).
- Deep understanding of distributed training techniques and GPU optimization.
- Proven track record of deploying large-scale models in cloud-native environments (AWS/GCP).
- Strong communication skills with the ability to bridge the gap between research and production.
