Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end supply chain operations including freight transportation, warehousing, and distribution
- Develop and implement strategic logistics plans to optimize cost-efficiency and delivery timelines
- Manage relationships with 3PL providers and negotiate transportation contracts
- Analyze logistics data using advanced analytics to identify improvement opportunities
- Lead cross-functional teams in implementing sustainable transportation practices
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and industry safety standards
- Drive digital transformation initiatives through TMS implementation and automation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field (MBA preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of progressive logistics management experience
- Expert knowledge of transportation management systems (TMS) and logistics software
- Proven track record in optimizing multi-modal transportation networks
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision making
- Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) designation required
- Exceptional leadership abilities with experience managing high-performing teams
- Deep understanding of DOT/FMC regulations and international trade compliance
