As a key member of our Federal Technology team, you will bridge the gap between complex technical requirements and strategic business goals. You will oversee the migration of legacy systems to modern cloud environments, ensuring full compliance with FedRAMP and NIST standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end architecture design for federal IT systems, ensuring scalability, security, and high availability.
- Oversee the migration of on-premise infrastructure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) with a focus on FedRAMP compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical roadmaps and resolve complex system integration issues.
- Conduct rigorous risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies for critical government assets.
- Establish best practices for coding standards, security protocols, and disaster recovery planning.
- Mentor junior architects and engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in IT architecture, systems engineering, or software development within the public sector or defense industry.
- Active Secret or Top Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a clearance at a higher level.
- Certifications such as CISSP, TOGAF, or PMP are highly desirable.
- Deep expertise in cloud architecture (AWS/Azure), containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and microservices.
- Strong understanding of federal compliance frameworks (FedRAMP, FISMA, NIST SP 800-53).
