In this pivotal role, you will design robust, scalable, and secure IT architectures that directly impact the lives of millions of veterans. Join us in our mission to deliver world-class healthcare and benefits through innovative technology solutions.

Why Join Us?

  • Professional Growth: Access to continuous learning and leadership development programs.

As the Senior IT Systems Architect, you will serve as the technical bridge between business stakeholders and development teams, ensuring that our systems are not only compliant with federal regulations but also optimized for performance and user experience.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the migration of legacy systems to modern cloud environments (AWS/Azure) while maintaining high standards of security and data integrity.
  • Ensure strict compliance with FISMA, FedRAMP, and HIPAA regulations throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including developers, security analysts, and operations—to resolve complex technical challenges.
  • Conduct architectural reviews and code audits to identify potential risks and performance bottlenecks.
  • Develop and mentor a team of junior architects and engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation.
