Responsibilities
- Program Leadership: Direct the end-to-end lifecycle of large-scale IT projects, from initiation and planning through execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for executive stakeholders, ensuring alignment between technical teams and business objectives.
- Compliance & Governance: Ensure all projects adhere to strict government regulations, security standards (FISMA), and agency compliance protocols.
- Risk Management: Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
- Resource Allocation: Optimize team resources and cross-functional collaboration to maximize efficiency and productivity.
- Quality Assurance: Implement rigorous quality control measures and Agile methodologies to deliver superior software solutions.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in IT project management, with at least 5 years specifically in the Government or Public Sector.
- Certifications: PMP, PgMP, or Prince2 certified. Active Secret or Top Secret Security Clearance is required.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Agile/Scrum frameworks, JIRA, MS Project, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure).
- Communication: Exceptional ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for non-technical audiences.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated history of resolving critical issues under pressure while maintaining project momentum.
