Responsibilities
- Lead complex investigative projects from concept to publication across digital, broadcast, and print platforms
- Develop and maintain confidential sources while adhering to strict ethical journalism standards
- Produce compelling multimedia content including video documentaries, podcasts, and data visualizations
- Collaborate with editors and producers to ensure accuracy, fairness, and maximum audience impact
- Mentor junior journalists and contribute to editorial strategy development
- Represent the organization at industry events and maintain professional relationships with key stakeholders
Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of professional investigative journalism experience with proven portfolio of impactful stories
- Exceptional research skills with demonstrated ability to analyze complex datasets and financial records
- Expertise in FOIA requests, public records analysis, and undercover reporting techniques
- Strong video editing and audio production skills using industry-standard software
- Ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining journalistic standards
- Journalism degree or equivalent professional experience required
- Portfolio demonstrating award-winning investigative work
