Qualifications
- 8+ years of professional journalism experience with proven investigative portfolio
- Demonstrated success in breaking major stories with national impact
- Expertise in public records requests, FOIA litigation, and data journalism
- Exceptional writing and storytelling skills across multiple formats
- Strong understanding of media law, ethics, and source protection protocols
- Ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining journalistic integrity
- Experience managing investigative projects and editorial teams
- Proficiency with research tools, video editing software, and CMS platforms
