- Mentor junior journalists and collaborate with editors to ensure editorial excellence
- Adhere to strict ethical standards and journalistic best practices
- Represent the organization at industry events and public forums
Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of professional investigative journalism experience
- Proven track record of breaking major stories with measurable impact
- Expertise in FOIA requests, public records research, and data analysis
- Exceptional writing and editing skills with portfolio of published work
- Proficiency in multimedia production (video editing, podcasting, graphic design)
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects
- Degree in Journalism, Communications, or related field
