Responsibilities

- Analyze complex data sets and public records to identify patterns of institutional failure.
- Collaborate with multimedia producers to translate investigations into engaging visual content.
- Adhere to the highest ethical and legal standards in journalism.
- Provide mentorship and editorial guidance to junior staff reporters.
- Prepare comprehensive briefings for executive editors regarding ongoing deep-dive stories.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in investigative journalism or long-form reporting.
- Demonstrated history of publishing high-impact investigative series.
- Expertise in FOIA requests, database management, and open-source intelligence (OSINT).
- Exceptional narrative writing skills with a focus on human-centered storytelling.
- Ability to thrive under tight deadlines and manage multiple high-stakes projects simultaneously.
- Deep understanding of media law, libel, and ethical reporting standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
