Responsibilities

- Secure and cultivate high-level sources across public and private sectors.
- Write compelling, accurate, and ethical long-form features and exposés.
- Collaborate with multimedia producers to enhance digital storytelling assets.
- Ensure all reporting adheres to the highest standards of journalistic ethics and legal compliance.
- Mentoring junior reporters on investigative techniques and source protection.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7+ years of professional experience in investigative or hard-news reporting.
- Demonstrated history of breaking original, high-impact stories.
- Expertise in FOIA requests, database reporting, and public record research.
- Exceptional narrative writing skills with a focus on investigative clarity.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally on short notice.
- Knowledge of digital media trends, SEO best practices, and audience engagement metrics.
