- Adhere to the highest standards of editorial accuracy, ethics, and legal vetting.
- Mentor junior reporters and provide constructive feedback on draft submissions.
- Represent the publication in public forums, industry panels, and broadcast appearances.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in investigative or enterprise reporting.
- Demonstrated history of breaking major news or publishing impactful long-form features.
- Expertise in FOIA/Freedom of Information requests and public records research.
- Strong grasp of data journalism tools and digital research techniques.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced, digital-first environment.
- Impeccable written communication skills with a mastery of narrative structure.
