Responsibilities

- Utilize FOIA requests and advanced data analysis to uncover hidden systemic issues.
- Collaborate with the legal and fact-checking teams to ensure editorial integrity and risk mitigation.
- Mentor junior reporters on investigative techniques, source protection, and narrative framing.
- Produce multimedia content, including video summaries and podcast segments, for our digital platforms.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, or a related field; Master’s preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in a newsroom environment, with a focus on investigative reporting.
- Demonstrated ability to break exclusive news stories that result in measurable impact.
- Expertise in public records research, database journalism, and data visualization tools.
- Exemplary ethical judgment and commitment to journalistic integrity under tight deadlines.
