In this pivotal role, you will lead the creative vision for high-profile projects, working closely with clients, engineers, and contractors to bring concepts to life.
Responsibilities
- Lead Design Execution: Take ownership of interior design concepts from the initial client brief through to final construction documentation and installation.
- Client Liaison: Present design concepts, mood boards, and technical drawings to clients, ensuring their vision is translated into reality while managing expectations.
- Technical Proficiency: Create detailed 3D renderings, floor plans, elevations, and sections using industry-standard software such as Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Rhino.
- Material & Vendor Management: Source premium materials, furniture, and fixtures, negotiating with vendors to ensure high-quality finishes and budget adherence.
- Project Coordination: Oversee the project timeline, coordinate with external consultants (structural, MEP), and conduct site visits to ensure design integrity during construction.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all designs comply with local building codes, planning regulations, and sustainability standards.
Qualifications
- Education: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of professional experience in high-end residential or commercial interior design.
- Portfolio: A robust, professional portfolio demonstrating a strong sense of color, spatial awareness, and technical drawing skills.
- Software Skills: Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign). Experience with V-Ray or Enscape is a plus.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex design ideas clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Soft Skills: Strong project management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
