Studio Luxe Architecture is seeking a visionary, high-caliber Senior Interior Designer / Architect to lead luxury residential and boutique commercial projects in New York City. In this role, you will shape stunning environments from initial concept through completion, collaborating with discerning clients, master builders, and artisan craftsmen. As a key leader in our Manhattan studio, you will have the creative freedom to direct high-end projects, curate bespoke FF&E packages, and design intricate millwork. Responsibilities
- Lead the schematic design, design development, and execution of high-end residential and luxury boutique projects.
- Create comprehensive interior architectural drawing sets, including space plans, elevations, custom millwork, and electrical layouts.
- Curate and specify premium finishes, furniture, lighting, textiles, and custom fixtures (FF&E).
- Manage client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact and masterfully presenting design concepts and pitches.
- Coordinate seamlessly with general contractors, structural engineers, and fabricators to ensure flawless execution on-site.
- Manage project budgets, procurement timelines, and deliverable schedules.
- Mentor and guide junior and intermediate designers within the studio.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a closely related field.
- 6+ years of professional experience in high-end, luxury residential or premium hospitality design.
- High proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and the Adobe Creative Suite.
- Exemplary knowledge of custom millwork design, construction details, and luxury materials.
- Exceptional client management, communication, and visual presentation skills.
- Strong network of vendors, artisans, and premium trade showrooms in the NY area.
- NCIDQ certification or Registered Architect (RA) status is highly preferred.
