Responsibilities
- Lead the conceptual design phase for luxury interior projects, from initial mood boards to final renderings.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and consultants to ensure design integrity throughout construction.
- Select and source high-end finishes, furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E).
- Manage client presentations, design reviews, and expectations with high levels of professionalism.
- Oversee construction administration and site visits to ensure adherence to design intent.
- Mentor junior design staff and foster a culture of creative growth within the studio.
- Develop detailed documentation sets, including floor plans, elevations, and millwork details.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design or Architecture from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in high-end residential or boutique hospitality design.
- Expert proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and SketchUp.
- Strong knowledge of interior construction methods, building codes, and material sustainability.
- Exceptional portfolio demonstrating a sophisticated aesthetic and technical competence.
- Proven ability to manage multiple project phases simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
