Responsibilities
- Lead the full lifecycle of complex interior design projects, from conceptual ideation to construction administration.
- Develop detailed design documentation, including floor plans, elevations, and custom millwork details.
- Select and specify high-end finishes, furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E).
- Manage and coordinate with consultants, including MEP, lighting designers, and contractors.
- Oversee site visits and installations to ensure adherence to design intent and quality standards.
- Mentor junior designers and foster a collaborative environment within the studio.
- Present compelling design concepts and progress updates to high-net-worth clients.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design or Architecture from an accredited program.
- Minimum of 6-8 years of professional experience in luxury commercial or high-end residential sectors.
- Expert-level proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop).
- Strong knowledge of building codes, ADA regulations, and sustainable building practices.
- Portfolio demonstrating a sophisticated design aesthetic and technical drawing capabilities.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for client-facing presentations.
- Professional licensure (NCIDQ or AIA) is highly preferred.
